A very important medal was won by our special and beloved Liqu liqueur, black and unique as only licorice can be. In fact, it was awarded Gold Medal at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2022 for the Spirit Selection, a section of the competition that is growing rapidly in terms of prestige and importance.
Spirits Selection by Concours Mondial de Bruxelles is a traveling international competition during which the spirit drinks presented by the producers are tasted and evaluated by a jury of experts whose tasters work tirelessly to identify spirits of impeccable quality, regardless of the label and prestige of the category.
The event this year took place from 20 to 24 June in Guadeloupe. During the tastings, three types of medals were awarded: Grand Gold, Gold and Silver. France (including the overseas territories), China and Brazil were the top 3 countries for the number of medals, while Brazil and Mexico, followed by Italy, stand out in palmares for the number of entries. Guadeloupe, the host country, obtained 51 medals, ranking second among the French regions that have won the most medals as a percentage relative to the samples presented.
All the awards, as in previous years, were able to grasp the trends and tell them to the world. Among these, the absolute importance and rebirth of Italian liqueurs. Like Liqu.
